Is this a beauty, or a weed?

Is this a beauty, or a weed? I know just one for sure. While going along a street, I was stopped by THIS. I stood in awe towards the picture, and there were no thoughts, just my heart was heavily beating... It is easy to talk about the symbolism now, but I was just shooting then. Yet time came to answer should I rejoice over this pick, or weed out all my accidental shots? What was recognized by you in the photo is the nutritive plant, the healthy one, yet the gardeners didn't accept him as a flower... The strange attitude, isn't it?
At a moment I have a lot of time to think (I was going to the hospital when I took this photo). Thus I am browsing over my archives (my book of life) and asking myself : what for? ... I am awoken by the guessworks and the questions enables me to rejoice over being alive till now. I still have time to uplift my eyes and open the heart.

It's whatever you want it to be. If it's beautiful to someone (even thought it's a weed), then it's still beautiful.

Have a terrific day Tomas. :)

Hello Tomas.
It's good to be back here, as I can relate and connect with you very much in how you express your being through language and experience. The answer to which you pose, I would respond as either, neither and both. My question isn't at the same level as the experience you encountered. I think you understand the experience you encountered well, and have acknowledged the very core of that moment in essence. In a way the picture seems to have triggered something within you, to make a connection with this moment, for better understanding of what you are going through.

Beautiful post. I never realized how wonderful a dandelion could be until I had kids - and hand-picked bouquets.

My daughter loves to pick them and make a wish, then blow them. I cringe every time thinking there will be more to come next spring to make me sneeze. Good thoughts. Thanks for stopping by my site through the June Comment Challenge.

I tend to lean toward viewing everything as connected, so everything that is is beautiful...and life. It doesn't matter if it's a flower or a weed because everything is unique and alive and beautiful.

If it's in someone else's yard it's beautiful. If it's in my hard and making my nose itch, it's a weed.

But if it's in your yard and you captured it with your camera, it's art.

That's such a wonderful perspective.

I was thinking about these creatures the other day - that when we are children they are the most fun and facinating item around - making wishes, blowing the fluff everywhere and picking all the yellow flowers... and then we grow up and they're a weed to be reconned with. Funny how perspectives and life change.

I really love how you captured the beauty in this picture. Yes to some it maybe a weed. As my son calls them wishys, I think the picture is lovely! Makes you stop and think about how beautiful nature can be. The other day I was on my way home and there was a rainbow. I tried so hard to get it on my cellphone. I did manage but you have to look close to see it. Maybe later tonight I will put it on my blog! I love your thoughts and your work! Stopping by from Harriets Comment Challenge!

It depends on whos eyes your looking through. If you look at it through the eyes of a person who thinks that the expanse of green in front of his home must be free of anything but the grass he planted then it is a horrible blight upon his home. If you look at it through the eyes of a child you see a wonder of nature designed to be plucked up and wished upon while blowing the seeds to the wind.
