dreams had dawned

Dreams had dawned while viewing the archives. THEN I was used not separate myself from my environment...It looked right, yet WHY the body became the tired?
Is it natural?
On the other hand, the archives enabled me to wake up: reminded  the times when the seeing of my footprints everywhere were the obligatory to each my picture - such was and is my viewpoint now too.

lost in fairyland / your choice

We can call this painting either "lost in fairyland" or "scandal".
one image and the ability to interpret his message differently. That's what creative work is all about - choosing between dreams and truth. What would you choose?

art or life

digital painting BUTTERFLY IN THE PLASTER by Tomas Karkalas

The picture is the picture, yet the title ARTWORK enables us to include the wisest, the most challenging ideas in the image, to name a sheet of paper as the visual thoughts.
On the other hand, the fine arts deal with the great discoveries. For example, I named the above picture the Butterfly in the Plaster.
Yes, it is impossible to imagine such thing, but Butterfly in the Plaster isn't a fantasy - it's me. The interaction of the disabler with his environment portrays the butterfly in the plaster. He is my nickname.
Yes I am able to play, and I am playing. But such confession does not embellish the portrait of the aged who wish to look a wise man. What to do?

Daily Moments With God: What Are You Saying? Do You Understand The Power...

Daily Bread / Tomas Karkalas
Daily Moments With God: What Are You Saying? Do You Understand The Power...: Are you watching what you are saying ... or are you just saying the first thing that pops in your head?   We have to get past reacting.    G...

The Christians can't live without the sharing

The Survey of the Creativity / Tomas Karkalas

People prefer the clear answers to the discussions, the dogmas which shut the door to the gentle breath of the Spirit.
The garden of our faith bloom in an awesome color when we kneel down, but all the flowers wither away if we fence them with our limited understanding.
The Christians can't live without the sharing of their faith. That's our gratitude to God and grateful humility -my digital painting The Survey of the Creativity.

substitute for the heart

I have checked my dustbin and found lots of interesting sketches there. Now I am going to share one. That's a picture of my heart. This digital painting looks like a watercolor - smells like a fresh breath... is that not symbolical? Dustbin treasures...

the study of the self - selfdiscovery by Tomas Karkalas

the study of the self /self discovery by Tomas Karkalas - endurance

The endurance or the blindness? Help!
It is easy to look wise, to talk about life in general.. but that is beneficial indeed: the silence represent the solitude- the place that offers a shelter to the sages and thus opens the gates to the fairyland. Each and all throw down the badges of their social rank at the entrance there.

Write text here... I understand the meaning of the above and the need to talk- therefore I will title my picture as a photo story about the endowment to peace

Tasty Fall

People were given two ears and one tongue so that they may listen more than they speak. -- Jewish Folk Saying
Two ears are enough to swallow down the picture, but that would result in a gag if without the author’s foreword. Even the best artwork is dead if it goes without comments. Yes, we have only one tongue, but if without it, the life would be the living with the disabilities.Let's rescue this apple from such destiny. Well?

art therapy's paper dreams

untitled hero

This Untitled Hero met me at the entrance to the hospital of people with the psychiatric disorders. I had my camera and took a picture:
Yiddish Proverb states "What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul."
I truly rejoiced at the art therapy handicrafts. Look below

Green Persistence

photo Green Persistence by Tomas Karkalas from Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Yiddish Proverb states "What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul."
We see two pillars of the humanity there, yet what is the place of the fine arts?

The wind can be the southeaster or wester, but how to define a sip of fresh breath?
Where from life giving miracle comes?

I went outside and took the photo. The leaflets were green, despite the totally unsuitable conditions for the growth. That could be the wonderful illustration of the art therapy - the heavy case histories of the patients (the background) and their pictures that shine with peace (the green leaflets) ...
Thus the photo supported me greatly, and it looked so inspiring.

The caught glimpse

The caught glimpse ~ Tomas Karkalas; Lithuania

The wish to say something new, worthy of pondering deeper – something beneficial to the readers blocks up the natural flow of the thoughts, makes the messages flat and results in what we name the writer‘s block.
Can I conclude by saying the good intentions lead us nowhere?
What is the meaning of the picture below?

oops... we broke

The familiar pix on above? Unfortunately, the familiarity kills the wonder and thus buries all the questions.
Nevertheless, what is a meaning of the image?

How to turn a problem to the creative joy

a close-up at art therapy crafts

It‘s easy to weep „I am just zero“ yet let try to say that in foreign language. The tears will dry off at a glimpse. Need to open the dictionary will enrich your day tremendously.  That‘s why I am writing in English. The complaints  against the shut doors transform to the wisdom of the metaphors. My only problem are the titles.

meaning in silence

While browsing through the web I chose to respond:

Yes, the silence looks like a sip of fresh air if we dare to slip into it and listen to the universe,
BUT it is just a word if we continue further with our past involvements.

Mastering the emotions

digital painting Peace Burden by Tomas Karkalas

Mastering of the emotions look like a fantastic dream yet is that not a result of the simple gratitude?
The wish to improve something looks fine at first glimpse but is that not an attempt to replace the gratitude for the sunlight with the individual understanding of what‘s what?
