encounter with myself

While looking at this photography, I surveyed my whole life. That was not a shot of a tree but the encounter with myself.
The tree of the picture was just a tree by a street, yet it became my personal diary now.

Such transformation is inescapable in any artwork. Just think. As one takes a picture of a house, it cease to be a house and becomes a symbol.  While the house on a street provides the dwelling-space to us, the picture of the house demands such space itself. Each and all objects of any artwork should be accepted as the symbols. So if  we enjoy the picture, we enjoy a story beyond the framed canvas. As I was caught by a view of a tree, I didn't examine the composition of a photography, but was thinking about myself - about my personal response to remaining alive till now.

I've had lots of encounters with myself. Not a bad thing at all.

Have a terrific day Tomas. :)

I look at my scars, each telling a different story of how I have hurt myself, others, and the all loving God. Maybe the marks on the tree are good reminders too of how I have hurt it so many times. Thanks God for the eyes to see them. Thanks Tomas.
