Two Thoughts on Tuesday

My wish for sharing my thoughts forced me to open the archives and thus the picture was picked from the bottom of my portfolio.  BlogDumps' Two Thoughts on Tuesday such way became something like the author of the image below:

The Passion for being --- digital painting by Tomas Karkalas
While playing, I just enjoyed the colors and everything was OK then, but now I am putting these emotions on a web, thus lots of questions appear.
What do I do? What I wish to say? Why?

Hello Journey

digital painting My Street by Tomas Karkalas 2011

I have read the  quote, by Paul Tillich:  "The first duty of love is to listen." And immediately  started the comments, begun to write. Thus the picture a lone wolf appeared. You see the close-up at the log which was a tree in my yard once upon a time..

When I‘m approaching a computer, I always visualize my inbox ful with your letters to me. That picture looks gorgeously indeed, therefore the practice is so painful. My click opened not a list of the emails from you but the polite announcement of Microsoft Word:  „Woohoo! You've read all the messages in your inbox“. In other words, there were nothing new except the empty screen.
The drastic „Why???“ pops out each time I come to the computer. No. I do not complain,- the story reveals the background of the picture on above. There are no new messages means nobody cares for me... for us. It is the portrait of our relationships.

Disability benefits

Equal opportunities, isn't? photo by Tomas Karkalas
My living with disabilities was hard to accept but taught me the gratitude. The status of an invalid made me out of work for life but forced me to admit the dependence on the grace of others. Thus my sickness trained me to respect the next to me as myself and made these thoughts the loud. My visual meditations  became my artworks and expressed the way of being.
I sold nothing but received lots of your nice comments on the blogs I have started. That enabled me to respect myself in spite of the reality I was facing. Though my artworks didn't get any profit to me but they taught to look at my life with the grateful thanks for being alive, and that attitude was my greatest achievement.

The instructions that follow museum-pieces announce "do not touch!" but there is no need to fear because  just viewing needs just consciousness that brings no penalty.

art security measures

The world sparkles with various celebrations. The inner peace enables me to participate in the sharing of the smile too. It looks as if everything is OK, yet my empty purse forces me to look around more attentively...
So let's examine the picture below together.

art security measures, 2012 canvas 60x65cm Tomas Karkalas
Do you notice that our dreams may be described by any accidental quote, by something we are reading for a moment?
In my case that happened exactly so when I read "Thanks for stopping by grab a chair and let's share some coffee" ...
Your comments will test my artworks, their power to objectify the dreams. Your feedback will show either my failure or  the ability to personify in the drawings . My success depends on your choice. That's the art therapy.
